Jamie Colby

Colby is employed by Fox News since July 2003 as National News Correspondent and Anchor. Prior to the move to FOX News Channel, Colby worked as a correspondent at CNN and was an anchor and reporter for CBS News and as anchors filling in for CBS's Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is a lawyer at the University of California and legally licensed in New York, California Florida and the District of Columbia. She received awards such as the Edward R.Murrow Award in 2002 for reporting on the terrorist attacks of September 11 as well as the Gracie Award for Investigative Reporting in 2000 and Clarion Award for Women in Communications. She was also named Television Week's "Rising News Star to Keep an Eye On". In addition to her journalistic career, Colby, an attorney worked as a private attorney for 10 years. The law firm was founded by Colby when an Hollywood production company assigned her The Tonight Show. At the age of 22, Colby began her career as a reporter as well as host for Johnny Carson, both during the renewal of his contract with NBC together with him, as well as his divorce. Colby hosts and reporter of Strange Inheritance, a show on Fox Business, covering quirky or unexpected legacy left by friends or family members. Jamie Jamie Jamie
