Sandrine Holt is the child of Sandrine Ho. She was born in London on 19 November 1972. Her parents are Chinese as well as French parents. The family relocated from China to Toronto Canada when she was five years old, which was her residence from the beginning. She was a catwalk model in Paris prior to becoming an actress. The actress made her debut in film in the role of Annuka in the year 1991 with Black Robe. The role earned her an award called the Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar. Rapa Nui Rise In Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas, Dance with the Murderer and Poltergeist The Uncanny Force were the next films. In addition, she made an appearance as a guest on Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension and Poltergeist The Uncanny Force. She played a significant role of John Woo's The Thief for 22 episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation and Resident Evil Apocalypse followed in 2004. Following a string of small roles for her in 24 Twenty Four, Runaway and a few other films she received her first big role as the main character. Holt started her career in small guest appearances and smaller role in series. The year 2013 was the first time she landed the leading role in Hostages and was also cast as a supporting character on the Netflix series House of Cards. The role she played was Julie Han, in the US remake The Returned (2015) and she was cast in the role of Bethany Exner.
